Ironically, the cargo tub (or bed) of the Defender is as fragile as the hood. A 200 pound man standing over the wheel-well of a Defender can actually feel the aluminum body flex and bend.

This weak cargo area hinders Defender owners from ever being able to put serious weight in the rear of their trucks. This is why Equipe has constructed a tough, chequerplated bed-liner to reinforce the flimsy aluminum design that you’re so sick of babying.

These chequerplates bolt through your current bed and come in silver chrome only.
