Heavy Duty Differential Guards

As you can see quite clearly, Equipe has taken differential protection to a slightly higher level. As someone who has punctured a differential housing or two, I can appreciate their zeal for this added fortification.

These are some of the thickest steel differential guards on the market, especially for the Salisbury Diff. All kits come with all the necessary hardware for installation. The Salisbury bolts on through the original mounting holes and the standard guard clamps down tight around the differential housing.

Both Equipe differential guards offer outstanding protection from stout knocks and other unpleasant impacts off-road. If Fort Knox was a differential, Equipe would keep the loot. Poetry.

Wrap-around Differential Guards

After much testing in the Safari and bubba truck thump-fests, we have tested the unique combined Diff guard and steering protector. Unlike other Diff Guards on the market the QT Guard wraps over the front of the casing rather than fixing to the diff pan. The advantage of the design is that the guard does not crack the welds and does not cause oil leaks if the guard takes a knock.

With its wrap around design it also goes back behind the track rod, preventing the track rod from being bent backwards.

The QT Diff Guard bolts on to the rear axle on all Defenders, Classic Range Rovers and early Discovery models. On US Spec Rovers (LHD), the front diff guard requires two tabs (included in kit) to be welded into place. Xinc plating provides that extra level of protection and quality you have come to expect from Qt products.
