You’ve run out of gas at least once this year
haven’t you? You jerk. She told you to stop.
Didn’t she….?
That bitch!!! (Excuse us.)
Even though you might not all be able to skip
out of the cubicle for an expedition in the
Brazilian Amazon, a good Jerry can is not
necessarily out of place in your possession.
Fuel is often scarce even in the American
suburbs, especially when you simply don’t fill
up. Jerk.
What we offer is a safer, more stable design of
the tough military Jerry cans you’ve seen in all
those repetitious WWII films. In the mid 80s,
Scepter designed a three-handled polyethylene
fuel can almost identical to the classic
military can. This fuel can proved to be a vast
improvement over its metal predecessors because
it was made of a very think polyethylene rubber
that was light-weight, string, flexible, and
rustproof.
Unlike flimsy hardware-store gas cans, Scepter’s
Jerry cans are built for movement and handling.
So, as we were saying, safe fuel storage should
not only be a priority on expeditions; safe fuel
storage is more important at home.
In
military live fire tests, these fuel cans were
shown to melt and burn without exploding, making
them significantly safer than their metal
counterparts. They exceed United Nations
Transportation of Dangerous Goods Model
Regulations.
These fuel cans are used by The United States
Military and the Canadian Military. These Jerry
cans also pass all United Nations Transport of
Dangerous Goods Model Regulations- making
Scepter’s Jerry can The Red Rhino preferred
container for transporting fuel safely.
As
you will read below, not all Sceptor cans are
designed for fuel transportation. You will
notice that Jerry cans with more than one handle
are designed to transport poisonous liquids and
that cans with one handle are designed to
transport human-safe liquids. Scepter also
offers a wide array of colors for specific can
designations.
Enjoy!
