A higher level of safety is realized by using 100% Polyester webbing which has a very low stretch percentage, other manufacturers use nylon webbing which can stretch up to 35% and greatly reduces winching efficiency and the safety factor. Shackle Mounting Bracket
	Strong recovery points on your vehicle are essential. Our heavy duty Shackle Mount Brackets (SMB) are engineered to provide heavy duty, bolt on recovery points. They are made to accept standard 3/4" screw pin shackles and are rated at 6,000 lbs with a 5 to 1 safety factor equaling 30,000 lbs. maximum capacity. The SMB‚s are zinc coated and utilize a 7/16" thick mounting flange with a 3" x 2" center to center mounting pattern, with a total dimension of 4" wide x 3" tall x 2 3/4" deep. SMB‚s mount to front or rear bumpers through four 1/2" holes. Use only grade 8 or higher hardware. Hardware is not included.

Jate Rings
Originally used by the British military for transporting Land Rovers, the Jate Ring is a U-Shackle that bolts through holes in your Land Rover frame and serves as a tie-down point. While the Jate ring will not offer the same strength as a traditional D-Shackle, they are still rated for 26,455 lbs. and will perform well serving as recovery points near the front and rear of a vehicles frame.   Simply bolt fit the U-shaped bracket around your frame and thread the center bolt through. Equipe’s Jate rings are a quick and effective fix for the recovery points you were too lazy to install on the front of your rig (Like us.) Note: JATE rings sold as single units. Note: These are not D-Shackles nor do they yield the recovery strength of them.
